Marriage in Village

I went to Telukunta ( my Dad's native place ) to attend my cousin sister marriage.I reached there on 9th Feb 2008 around 4 PM.My relatives are busy in their work some making arrangements ( Kurrallu pattatam etc.,).I got warm welcome in my village as I have not seen my relatives for 8 years.Of course many of them did not recognised me.My mother introduced me to all.At that day I got to realize that I had many relatives.

Coming to marriage in that village,really it was one of the wonderful marriages I have attended.I have not seen a marriage in village since 5 years.We are habituated to marriages in function halls.But marriage in that village was awesome.The marriage went according to pucca telugu traditions.The night before marriage we decorated the marriage stage with banana leaves and flowers.Until that morning,I don't know that my cousins are so talented in decorating.They decorated the marriage stage beautifully.After decorating that,we went to a near by lake to enjoy the sun rise.After that sun rise,we went to meet bride (EduruKollu ).We had a nice time there at that place.The elder people of bridegrooms family makes bride family members sweet by pouring KGs of sugar in to their mouth.After that the brothers of bridegroom takes the bride in their hands and bring him to the stage.After that,the routine story ( jilkara-bellam , thalambralu ,some games ) . After that the lunch started in village style. ( Non -Veg Compulsory ).I was appointed as head of finance department there in marriage (Katnala chadivimpulu ).I had collected the money for 3 hours and after that started the sad story.(Appagintahlu ).I will be not there at that spot since I cant see others crying ;-).
This was the climax part.I was eagerly waiting for it ( Dances in Marriages ).At first my uncle opened his account with Theen Maar ( Mass Music Beat ).After that we ( cousins ) joined one by one.In towns,we used to ask others to dance .But in villages it is not necessary.They dance continuously.More over thay will not give us a chance to dance.After a huge gap,they gave us a chance.My Cousins about 7 members did not wasted that chance.All of my family members got surprised by looking at my wonderful steps.They had got a doubt whether I am an Engineer or not.That dance started at 4 PM and ended at 9 PM.After 9 PM ,there was a fight between village members as expected.

From that moment I thought that I should not miss any marriages in villages.So the next week I went to attend my cousin brother in Eligaid ( my mom's native place ).
The same procedure repeated here.But in this marriage I Enjoyed the marriage with the relatives of my mother's side but this marriage was special since the bride and bridegroom's family are very close to my family.All the members who came to attend the marriage are very close to my family so I enjoyed the occasion from both sides.

At last the point is " We are gaining some in this rapid technology world but missing much"
