Route R-11 ( Uppal - Campus ) via Himayatnagar

The day was October 3rd 2007,Wednesday.I was eagerly waiting at the Narayanaguda Bus stop to get into our company bus for the first time..Before getting in to the bus,I was dreaming that the people in the bus were busy talking,making fun,etc.,.I was in that mode because I know some people in this route ( Uppal - Himayatnagar ) as we used to travel everyday in cab while returning from office.But to my surprise,the bus was calm and all the first rows were occupied instead of last rows.I took a,last but one row,seat so that I can cover most of the colors :-) .In that first week,I and vinay used to chat as we know each other before.This continued for the first week.

In the second week,I called Ravi who was alone in his seat to the back bench.We had a good chat that day as we started our discussions related to movies.From next day,he used to reserve a seat for me in one of the last rows.In that way,we continued our discussions.One fine day,I changed my bus stop to Himayatnagar as I used to suffer with hizras twice/thrice a week at that Narayanaguda Bus Stop.Moreover,I can also chat with Vinay who gets in to the bus at himayatnagar.There started the first friendship in R-11 between Vinay,Ravi and myself. As days passed,our discussions attracted others and they also participated actively.On one nice evening,we plan to discuss about marriages.That was the "U" turn of our R-11 journey.Venkat(Amberpet) joined this discussion and it went long way.We talked about 1 hour reg. this marriages and the experiences after marriage and during marriages.In that discussion,many of the R-11 members(Venkat,srini,preetham,etc.,) joined.And from the next day,we used to discuss a new topic everyday.Venkat and some members who always sits in front rows came back to last rows.Not only Venkat,srikanth(alto),venkat moguluri ,phalguni,aparajitha,chary,etc., came to last benches.As this continued for months,Narayana and praveen joined us.They were also good active members in discussions.We used to hear some old songs from Chandrachud when all are calm.We used to play antakshari and Dumb Charades on fridays when many of our R-11
members get into the 6:15 bus.Our bus mates used to stop me getting down at himayatnagar as they could not imagine the remaining journey without me ;-).Just Kidding but it happened once and they left me on the middle of Narayanguda Fly over.

We have two timings for evening buses.one is at 6:15 and second one is at 7:40 PM.Before April 2008,7:00 PM buses will drop you at famous bus stops( for R-11 it is Koti Route) rather than regular bus stops.Vinay,Vamsi chandramukhi,challa srikanth and myself used to get down at Basheerbagh.We used to walk from basheerbagh to himayatnagar discussing about our youth .......We also had an intermission part in this walk at a chat point.

As days are passing,Vamsi,venu,RK, joined in this Route R-11 journey.They also contibuted much to our discussions.we used to read stories,solve puzzles,dicuss about politics,business,sports,etc.., and much about movies.Not only this,we also discuss some techincal aspects.Believe it or not,I got a solution for one of my issue in this technical section.As we were tired at the end of the day,we planned for mirchis,bajjis in the evening bus at tolichowki ( traffic jam will be more at Tolichowki).As I was the guy with guts,I got down from running bus and
get into the bus as bus came to that place.Then many showed their guts but this time they stopped the bus and showed their guts.Not only this,we also celebrated some occasions in restaurants near by himayatnagar.There came many nicknames in our daily discussions.Some of them are Gaaga01,bokra01,kolra01,alto,ambassador,etc.,.I am also happy that the boot camp freshers(Rishita,vamsi,glory,ishwar,..)joined this year (2008) are also very active in
discussions,antakshari,etc.,Hope each year this should be continued....

The only calm guy in our bus who sits in last bench is Raju.He is very silent but a silent killer who plays jokes only on me.

Now I know atleast 10 + members in each floor.Previously I knew only a few of SBU people.
In this way,our bus journey continued and I hope that it should continue like this for years...

There are also some pain moments in this beautiful journey.Chary,Praveen,Devi,swapna,etc., of our R-11 left our company.Though it is a silly thing but it hurts me when I think that we should wait for a day to meet them rather than meeting them daily.TO be frank,I hate departures but we can't do anything,we should accept them,right.

Previously,I used to feel shy talking to girls but this journey has changed me a lot in this aspect.Now am confident that I can talk to girls ;-) .

Ayyo, I forgot to tell you why I became a corner point in R-11.One day in the evening bus,a new girl got in to R-11 Bus.As usual,my eyes are on that girl.When the bus is at lakdi-ka-pool,I asked that girl " Where do you leave".She said "Near Anand theatre".I said that this bus will go to Uppal not Sec-bad.That girl got worried and got down at Assembly.From that day my bus mates used to comment me.After that moment it went on and is going on ........Also I thank our bus drivers Khaja and Durga.

Do you know the reason why I posted this blog today.Today ( 24th Sep 2008 ) is the first Birthday of Route R-11.Long Live R-11 beautiful relations.
