It was about 1 year I visited GOA.I was waiting for a long trip.Suddenly,one day in theatre,we thought of a tour. We planned for a trip which should have navarasalu ( 9 varieties ) :) . Our variety trip saga goes like this................
At around 8 PM on December 23, 2008 we jumped into venkatadri Express.Around 7 AM,we got down at Tirupathi.Around 11 PM ,we started from Alipiri to Tirumala.As our bellies are growing day by day,we opted for Tirumala by foot.Also we can also give up some sins if we do so ;) .We took 6 hours to reach tirumala.Oh 6 hours.........You can think how slow we are.But we did not give any rest to our mouth and stomach.We gave rest only to our legs.We had a very good darshan there at tirumala.It took only 2 hours.But I think,6 hours walk and 2 hours in queue are
worth to see that charming beauty of Lord Venkateshwara.As we booked a room in tirupathi,we planned to leave tirumala.An interesing thing happened here.One of our tour mate,Nagendar thought of buying ear guards ( bottom monkey caps).he bargained it for Rs.25/- per pair.As he has only 500/- rupee note,he gave that note to him.The shop keeper said he has no change.There we had some discussions and after that the shop keeper said that he has
change after we agreed that we will take 2 pairs he gave 450/- in return.After that we got into Tirupathi Bus.The bus started and after some time,we realised that we took only 450 ruppes but we forgot that ear guards.We laughed at our foolishness but we are happy that one of our sins got washed away :).We reached Tirupathi around 10 PM and had a good dinner in Hotel Bhimas.We had a good sleep there at Tirupathi as we are tired that day.
Next day, in the morning we booked a Indica Car to Visit South India places.As we are devotees,we started our Indica trip from Srinivasa Mangapuram.I am very much happy on that day as I saw Lord Balaji idol from just about 20 mts.We had a bhajana there.We started to Vellore to have a look at Golden Temple.I was shocked to see the rates there at Vellore.They charged 250/- each for fast darshanam.The line for free darshanam is about 2 kms.With no choice,we opted for 250/- darshanam.We also had a funny incident here.We started from 250/- entrance and joined free darshanam line as we don't know Tamil.We realised that we are in free darshanam line when we had completed darshanam.Again other punch for us.We stared from vellore around 1 PM and reached Tiruvanamalai around 3 PM.There we tasted the Tamil Nadu Food.It was good but not great.The temple architecture in Tiruvanamalai is great.It was a old temple with some great sketches on the rock.Our cameras snapped each and every sketch.We had the Lord Shiva darshan there in a quick time.we came out and took some creative snaps.We got the blessings from Ganpathi ( Elephant ).The elephant in the temple blessed us with
trunk.I thought of a second that its trunk touch was very heavy on my head,if it hits imagine once ,even pandu's mind will be blocked :).We had some nice moments in that temple and got tunes to a song "Manishai puttina vaadu karadhu........." .From there we moved to Shiva Sannidhi ashramam to spent the rest of the day.It is around 7PM.We went to Sri Ramana Maharshi Ashramam and spend sometime there.From there we roamed in the streets of Tiruvanamalai.At around 10 PM,We are back in our room.
Next Day ( Dec 26,2008 ) morning around 6 AM,We got ready to rock Pondicherry.We had some funny and peaceful drive as it is full of fog.We had tea in one of the village near Tiruvanamalai.We enjoyed that moment (Imagine hot tea in our hands and cool air kissing our cheeks and rest of the body).We enjoyed that drink there.We reached pondicherry around 8AM.Pondicherry welcomed us with an accident.Our car dashed a motor bike.We had some discussions there with traffic police man with the tamil language we know :).We gave him some of our sins ( 200 Rs ) and he relieved us from that incident.Then we went to Aurobindo ashramam.We spent some time there in that ashramam.Then we moved to the beach.We are shocked to see that beach.Basically we thought of spending the rest of that day in that beach.To
our surprise,the beach was full of rocks .As we can't do anything there in that beach,we went to our room.While we are parking our car,we met with an accident.Imagine the mood of ours,Morning accident,Rock Beach and againaccident.We thought of leaving pondicherry as soon as possible.We went to our room and ordered drinks and food.We made ourselves cool with cool drinks :)Then we plan to leave pondicherry and started to Mahabalipuram.7 kms away from pondicherry,we saw a beach with no rocks.We are very happy to see that.Without hesitation,we went to that beach.We made a walk in that beach and got settled at a place where there are many girls.As usual,my eyes are on high alert all the time.I gained here what we lost in pondicherry ( Paisa Vasool ).We spent the rest of the day in that beach.At around 5:30 PM,a tide with 7-8 feet high hit me and I fell down with huge force from 7 feet high on that sea shore.Really,Its a huge blow for me.After spending the only joyous moment there in pondicherry we came back to our room as it was late night.
Next day,we started to Mahabalipuram.We landed in Mahabalipuram around 11 AM.By seeing Avvari there,I thought that the sculptures were designed only for Avvari photographs as he is not leaving any thing there.But we took as many as photographs there.We enjoyed the architectures there with our friend Sun.He is so hot there.Around 2 PM we went to a restaurant there and had lunch there.In that hotel,we had a quarrel with the server as he splitted Sambar on Avvari's new pant.After that horrible lunch,we went to beach there in Mahabalipuram.Mahabalipuram beach was very nice.We can go about 200 mts into sea as it is shallow.We went about 100 mts into the sea and enjoyed the tides in the sea.As that was our last beach session,we enjoyed till the last moment.I forgot to say that we had a horse ride in that beach.Around 9 PM,we plan to leave for tirupathi.In that drive to Tirupathi,we talked about the
stories of each individuals so that we cannot sleep and let our driver to sleep.He also shared some moments with us.We are going to tirupathi at a speed of 100KPH.We realized this as our car jumped on a speed breaker.We reached Tirupathi around 11PM.We booked a room there and took rest.
Nexy day morning,we started to Kalahasthi but this time in a APSRTC Bus.We reached Kalahasthi at 12 PM.We completed our darshanam and other tasks around 2 PM.We plan to start for Gudur,where we booked for return journey.We reached Gudur around 5 PM.The journey from Kalahasthi to Gudur was awesome.The route is full of nativity.We smelled the real beauty of Indian land.As our train starts at 8:40,we plan to watch a movie.We went to YuvaSamrat's "KING".We enjoyed the movie till 8:15 and returned back to station around
8:30PM.Our last journey of the trip was safe and funny.We had a huge laugh in that train as we enjoyed the angry discussions between a couple.We landed in Secunderabad around 8AM.
